San Antonio College does not offer on-campus housing. International students are responsible for making their own living arrangements. Housing generally needs to be arranged after a student has arrived in San Antonio. It is recommended students arrive in San Antonio at least 4 weeks before the start of classes in order to find suitable living accommodations and to make the necessary rental and transportation arrangements.
International students at San Antonio College are required to maintain health insurance for the full duration of their program. Alamo Colleges District does not provide student health insurance, so students must purchase their own coverage prior to enrollment and keep it active while studying. Because health care in the United States can be costly, comprehensive insurance coverage is strongly recommended to help protect against unexpected medical expenses.
