What's special about this program?
This program is designed to provide students with hands-on, career-focused training in a high-demand technical field. Students move beyond basic surveying skills and begin exploring the legal and professional side of surveying, including land law and boundary principles.
The certificate is also stackable, meaning students can begin with the Occupational Skills Award and continue building toward the Level 1 Certificate. For students interested in long-term career growth, the program provides additional academic credit that may help support future RPLS licensure requirements in Texas.
Students pursuing this award are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites.
