Bio:

My name is Ms. Mejias-Maradiaga, and I am a proud New Orleans native. I am from the land of the "Who Dat" and Mardi Gras, where our motto is "laissez les bon temps rouler" (let the good times roll). Despite the love for my state, opportunity enticed me to the great state of Texas. After a period of adjustment, I finally feel at home in Texas, that is until football season. Shockingly, Texas does not feature the Saints games on television! Mercifully, I have the NFL ticket and will be glued to my TV during games. I hold three degrees, all acquired in Louisiana. I have a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History and a minor in English Literature from Louisiana State University (LSU). Geaux Tigers!! I also have a Juris Doctorate in Civil Law from Loyola College of Law in New Orleans and a Master's in English from the University of New Orleans. (I know! Why, right?) I love school!!
