Bio:

I am an adjunct faculty member in the department of Sociology where my focus is on helping undergraduate students apply sociological concepts to everyday life. I started here at Northwest Vista in Spring 2026 and prior to that I worked at other institutions and for the state utilizing large datasets to turn information into actionable knowledge. In my prior career, I was responsible for areas of data strategy such as utilizing business intelligence, implementing data governance initatives, and improving trust in data. Throughout that career I was able to apply both of my degrees and think about the technological aspects and social aspects of data analysis. I live here in San Antonio with my wife and twin daughters, and we have the best Doberman named Kevin. My current interests revolve around how AI is affecting the workforce, society and how we will adjust to this new technology.
