It's my pleasure to welcome you to San Antonio College!
For nearly a century, San Antonio College has provided students with a top-notch, quality education. We offer a diverse class selection, affordable tuition, small classes, respected faculty and a multitude of exemplary programs.
Each day, our incredible faculty and staff work together to reach one wildly important goal: Student Success. We strive to give our students the academic programs, learning tools, and support services they need to achieve their dreams.
Our efforts recently resulted in the highest honor we could ever receive: the 2021 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, which is the signature recognition of high achievement and performance among America’s community colleges. We are proud and humbled to be recognized in this way. We also know it’s just the beginning of another exciting chapter in SAC’s long history of educational excellence and service to the community.
At SAC, there’s something for both degree-seeking students who intend to transfer to a four-year university and those who are seeking job training, self-enrichment and professional development. On average, we serve about 20,000 students each semester. As the second-largest higher education institution in San Antonio, we welcome students of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, states and countries.
On any given day of the academic year, you will find an array of events, activities, and service opportunities happening all around campus and in our community. I urge you to participate and experience all that our college has to offer.
I am honored to be at the helm of this great institution and I look forward to many more years to come.
