Admissions & Advocacy Checklist

St. Philip's College provides full-time staffing at the JBSA - Lackland Education Office to assist you. Evening courses are open to all students (subject to background checks) however, per Department of Defense requirements, military personnel, their families and DoD personnel have priority placement for all JBSA - Lackland courses. Unfortunately, due to security requirements, we are unable to accommodate foreign students on Visas at this location.

Schedule of Courses

St. Philip's College provides accelerated schedules of evening courses, supporting core curriculum, general transfer and Community College of the Air Force requirements.

Spring 2019 JBSA -Lackland Schedule

Students will be considered for registration into JBSA courses based upon a priority order set by the Department of Defense Voluntary Education Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (DoD MOU). Groups 2-5 may be considered early, depending on enrollments. 

A registration request form and release of information form is required from all students who are not active servcie members.

Directions, Map and Access Instructions

Only students registered for JBSA-Randolph courses will be sponsored onto the installation. Chaperones and drivers will not be sponsored. 
Visitor passes will be processed at the Luke East Gate Visitor Center off Military Dr. and East Luke Blvd.

A Course Registration Request Form is required from all registered civilian students no later than the Friday before semester start. Students will receive an email to their student accounts the Friday before semester start with information regarding installation access, to include a map and directions. Background checks are performed at the Visitor Center when the student applies for access. Questions about this process may be directed to our LAFB staff.

Lackland Classroom Food and Drink Policy 

All courses meeting on Lackland are delivered in the Education Services Building, Building 5725, on the second floor.  The Alamo Colleges office is located in room 144.

Evening personnel are available Monday through Thursday 1630-2200 (only during semesters) to assist our students. Phone 210-486-7224.
