Sociology

The discipline of Sociology at Northeast Lakeview College is dedicated to providing students with an excellent education in the field of sociology. We offer a wide range of courses, from introductory and foundational courses to more advanced classes that explore specific topics, such as gender and race relations, family dynamics, social class and inequality, research methods, and social change. Students can also take advantage of unique opportunities to participate in service learning projects that provide real-world experience. In addition to the classroom experience, students have access to a variety of student organizations and activities that help build professional skills as well as leadership abilities. The faculty and staff in the discipline of Sociology are committed to helping students become successful professionals with a strong understanding of the world around them.
