Vincent Lockhart

About Vincent Lockhart

Vincent Lockhart has been teaching at Northeast Lakeview College for over 15 years and currently serves in the Science/Kinesiology and Education departments. Before joining NLC, he worked as a physical education teacher and athletic coach, experiences that laid the groundwork for his student-centered approach to teaching and mentoring.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Point Loma Nazarene University and a Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Physical Education. Vincent brings a practical, relational style to the classroom and believes that learning is most effective when it connects to real life.

Outside of his professional role, Vincent enjoys spending time with his family and watching movies. As a faculty mentor, he is committed to being a steady, supportive presence for students—someone they can count on for guidance, encouragement, and honest conversation as they navigate college and beyond.
