Transcript Process

 

Requesting an Official NVC Transcript

Official transcript requests are made through your ACES student account. There is a $10.00 fee for each official transcript requested.

We cannot, under any circumstances, fax or e-mail official transcripts.  Additionally, we cannot provide an official transcript if there is a hold on your student account. Official transcripts are mailed. However, we provide the option for in-person pick-up.

Please note: Transcripts are not printed on campus and are printed and mailed from an off-site location after this request is made.

Current Students

You are considered an active student if you have registered for at least one course within the last year.

You must submit your Official Transcript Request through your ACES Account.

Instructions:

  • Log in to your ACES account
  • Click - Web Services
  • Click - Students tab
  • Click - Student Records
  • Click - Request Printed Official Transcript section
  • Follow the instructions for choosing an address, then click Continue
  • Select the Student Transcript Type and the Credit Course Level
  • Review the mailing address to make sure it is correct and then click Continue
  • Fill in required information and click Continue     
  • Review information and click on Submit Request
  • Enter Payment information ($10.00 per transcript) – First transcript is free

Future Students

Students who have not been enrolled at one of the colleges of the Alamo Colleges District for a year or more.

Instructions:

  • Log in to your ACES account
  • Click – Web Services
  • Click  - Students tab
  • Click – Web Services
  • Click - Former ACES user
  • Click - Request Printed Official Transcript
  • Once you complete the request, you will be prompted to submit a payment of $10.00 using a Credit or Debit card.

You will receive a message that confirms the payment was successful.

Please note: Students with a "transcript hold" will not be able to request on-line until the "hold" is resolved. Contact the Records & Residency Office for information on how to clear these "transcript holds" 

Dual Credit Students

If you are currently a high school student taking Dual Credit courses with Northwest Vista College, you are able to order an official transcript via your ACES student account. The first transcript request is complimentary.

Transcripts must be mailed to a college or university and cannot be released to the student.

Instructions:

  • Log in to your ACES account
  • Click – Web Services
  • Click  - Students tab
  • Click – Student Records
  • Click -  Request Printed Official Transcript section
  • Follow the instructions for choosing an address, then click Continue
  • Select the Student Transcript Type and the Credit Course Level
  • Review the mailing address to make sure it is correct and then click Continue Fill in required information and click Continue     
  • Review information and click on Submit Request
  • Enter Payment information ($10.00 per transcript) – First transcript is free
Transcript Attachments

Students needing to place a transcript request with attachments will need to have documents ready for submission once transcript request is submitted.

Documents must be in a PDF format containing Banner ID, Full Name, and Date of Birth and will need to be emailed to dst-CSItranscripts@alamo.edu

**If documents are not emailed within same date of your transcript request, this may ultimately result in a delay of all necessary information to the recipient.**

Sending Transcripts to NVC

Before you are admitted into one of the colleges of the Alamo Colleges District, we require your official transcripts.

High School Seniors Following Graduation, you must submit an official transcript with TEST SCORES and GRADUATION DATE
Home School Students Submit a notarized transcript of high school equivalent work completed and graduation date.
GED Graduates Submit official GED Certificate with scores from Texas Education Agency (TEA)

Transcripts must be unopened and sealed in their original envelope to be accepted for admissions. Official transcripts ca be received in person and/or  through an official electronic receipt (i.e, Parchment, E-script, etc.)
