Transcript Process

Sending Transcripts to NVC

  • Official transcripts must be submitted in original sealed envelope.
  • Institutions can send electronic PDF transcripts through a secure server such as Parchment, eSCRIP-SAFE, National Student Clearinghouse and Transcripts Network to nvc-records@alamo.edu
  • Home school transcripts must be notarized.
  • Foreign transcripts must be evaluated and translated from any company listed at the www.naces.org site. The original, official foreign transcript must accompany the evaluated document.
  • Alamo Colleges District will only accept translation and evaluations from companies approved by NACES.

Official transcripts may also be delivered in a sealed envelope at the Records Windows in the Cypress Campus Center lobby area. (CCC-100)

Requesting a Transcript

Transcripts are NOT printed on campus. ALL transcripts are printed and mailed from an off-site location after a request is made. For this reason, it is not possible to pick up a transcript in person on the same day of your request.

Note: Transcript requests take 3 to 5 business days to be processed.

Please contact Records if your request is not processed in 7 business days so that they may follow up on your request. During peak transcript request periods, the processing time for your transcript may be longer.

On-line Transcript Request

Current and Former students can request transcripts on-line via ACES

  •  if you are selecting Hold for Grades, your transcript will not be produced until the end of semester once all grades are due at the end of the in-progress term.
  •  if you are selecting Hold for Degree, your transcript will not be produced until the end of the semester, once all grades are due, and the awarding cycle has ended of the in-progress term.

Please note: There has been a change in the processing of transcript requests as a result of the new printed format of transcripts from the Alamo Colleges District. Please visit our Transcript FAQ's for details. 


How to log in to ACES

If you REMEMBER your User ID and password, Log-in to ACES in the spaces indicated in the Secure Access Box.

If you FORGOT your password, click the Forgot Password? Link at the bottom of the Secure Access Log-in box and answer the Security Question.

If you still CANNOT log-in to ACES, call the Help Desk at 210-486-4777.

Former Students
(Students who have not been enrolled at one of the colleges of the Alamo Colleges District for a year or more)

Select Home Tab
Click - Web Services (bottom left-hand of page)
Click - Former ACES user
Click - Request Printed Official Transcript

Once you complete the request, you will be prompted to submit a payment of $10.00 using a Credit or Debit card.

You will receive a message that confirms the payment was successful.

Please note: Students with a "transcript hold" will not be able to request on-line until the "hold" is resolved. Contact the Admissions & Records office for information on how to clear these "transcript holds" 


Dual Credit Students

Visit the Welcome Center to obtain a "Transcript Request" form. The first transcript request is complimentary. If this is not the first request, please visit the Bursar's Office for payment ($10 fee per additional copy).

Submit the completed form to the Welcome Center.

  • Transcripts are not printed on campus and are printed and mailed from an off-site location after this request is made.
  • Transcripts must be mailed to a college or university and cannot be released to the student.

Transcript Attachments

Students needing to place a transcript request with attachments will need to have documents ready for submission once transcript request is submitted.

Documents must be in a PDF format containing Banner ID, Full Name, and Date of Birth and will need to be emailed to dst-CSItranscripts@alamo.edu

**If documents are not emailed within same date of your transcript request, this may ultimately result in a delay of all necessary information to the recipient.**
