Career Speaker Series - Emilio Gordon Garcia

Emilio Gordon Garcia, 25, is an aerospace engineer at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio. Garcia will talk about his journey to a successful life and engineering career from humble beginnings, including growing up in a poor Chicago neighborhood before his father’s deportation split up his family.

This event is part of the Career Speaker Series hosted by the Student Enrichment Center to introduce the SAC community to influential local professionals and leaders who have overcome challenges to achieve success. Admission to each event is free and food will be available on a first-come, first served basis.
