3D Technologies @ SAC

Early Childhood Center

First Responders Academy, Protective Services Department (Law Academy & Fire Academy)

The Law Academy does, Basic Peace Officer Course and is accredited through the Texas Commission of Law Enforcement (TCLE).  The Fire Academy does, Fire Fighter I Certification, Fire Fighter II Certification, Haz Mat Awareness & Operations Certification and is accredited through the Texas Commission of Fire Protection (TCFP).

Honors Academy

The SAC Honors Academy Program is committed to supporting eligible students through engagement, completion, and graduation/transfer. We offer college courses in core subjects that every student will need for a bachelor's degree in Texas. Dedicated professors and an embedded advisor work one-on-one with students and guide them through academic, transfer and career goals. Students receive a first-rate college experience during their first two years at a fraction of the cost of a four-year college or university.

Integrated Reading and Writing Center (INRW Center)

The Integrated Reading and Writing or INRW Center provides academic support and tutoring services to students enrolled in INRW, ENGL 1301, or ENGA. Workshops to review and reinforce college-level reading and writing skills are available to all SAC students.

International Student Services

International Student Services (ISS) provides many resources for all visa holders. We offer individual advising and services in the following areas:

  • Immigration matters, such as obtaining F-1 student visas, maintaining full-time enrollment, transferring administration of your SEVIS I-20 record between schools, and traveling outside of the United States
  • Employment restrictions and options and obtaining work authorization
  • Information about medical insurance coverage
  • Adjustment to San Antonio College and to life in San Antonio and the United States
  • Providing letters for verification of your F-1 status for various purposes, such as obtaining a Texas driver's license or identification card

Math Lab

Welcome to the San Antonio College Math lab. Here you will find many resources to assist you while a student at SAC. We have the best math tutors here to serve you. Our tutors are knowledgable, engaging and ready to help you. We have calculator check-out, textbook check-out, appointments for one-on-one tutoring and group tutoring. Come check us out.


The MEGA Lab provides SAC students the space and resources to complete class work. Staff with specialized knowledge of operating system and key software applications are on hand to assist students with troubleshooting needs.

MESA Center

The MESA Center is a study/resource center for students who have a passion for pursuing the sciences. The kinds of resources and support that students will find in the MESA Remote Canvas include: Tutoring, resume assistance, scholarship/internship searches, professional/academic workshops, STEM Clubs, professional networking opportunities, job leads and more.

The MESA is a place where students will be stretched academically and professionally. Engaged students will develop connections and friends for life.

Mexican American Studies (MAS) Program

The Mexican American Studies (MAS) program builds and shares knowledge of Mexican American life, community, history, language, culture, and art across social, intellectual, geographic boundaries. MAS courses train students in critical thinking and prepares them for culturally competent work in a variety of settings, from academic to professional. We are proud to facilitate a space where students leave SAC as forward-thinking leaders and change makers in their communities, workplaces, and families.

Music Business Program & Fredstock Music Festival

The Music Business Program provides students with both an overview of the various aspects of the music industry and real-world, hands-on learning. This unique learning environment prepares students for careers in the technical side of the industry or the business side.

The Music Business students have the opportunity to participate in the SAC annual Music festival, Fredstock.  A free, family friendly music festival featuring local bands.

Radio - TV Broadcasting Program & KSYM

The Radio and Television Broadcasting program consists of hands-on courses in the fundamentals of in-studio and off-site Television Production, Radio Station Operation, Digital Audio Production, Writing for Radio, Television, and Cinema Style Production. KSYM is a student operated radio station licensed to San Antonio College. KSYM prides itself on being an alternative experience to commercial radio.

The "Spots" - BioSpot, ChemSpot, GeoSpot

The Natural Sciences tutoring centers, or the “Spots” as they are known, support the tutoring needs for students taking any Biology, Chemistry, or Geology/Earth Sciences courses.




Student Advocacy Center

The Student Advocacy Center provides student success support through the services we offer The Store, The Closet, Grab N Go, counseling, and case management services for SAC students.

Student Leadership Institute (SLI)

The Student Leadership Institute (SLI) is a 2 semester (fall and spring) leadership program designed to develop students into more proactive, productive, and engaging leaders on-campus and our communities through leadership resources, activities, and experiential learning.

Student Learning Assistance Center (SLAC Lab)

The Student Learning Assistance Center or SLAC Lab, provides academic support and tutoring services in a variety of subjects, to include but not limited to Accounting, Economics, Spanish, etc. SLAC tutors are available for both appointment-based and drop-in tutoring.  Students can schedule their own tutoring appointments using the AlamoNAVIGATE link in their ACES account.  For drop-in sessions, students can visit to the SLAC page to view the tutors’ drop-in tutoring availability and zoom link to their room.

The SLAC tutors conduct 2 workshops per week on various academic support topics.  Visit SLAC Workshops page to view the Fall 2020 workshop schedule.  The workshop schedule has zoom links to each session.  Students who want a one-on-one workshop with a tutor at a different time than on the schedule, they can email to have a workshop scheduled.

Student Life

The Office of Student Life supports the academic mission of the college by engaging students in a variety of activities. Our goal is to enhance the student's college experience by providing co-curricular opportunities that foster camaraderie, a sense of community and personal growth.


TRIO STEM SSS provides services to STEM & Allied Health majors. The services consist of personal academic advising, individual tutoring, financial aid application assistance, university tours, etc..

VA - Victory Center

The Victory Center is a one-stop shop serving the needs of all military affiliated students including Active Service Members, Guard and Reserve Members, Veterans, and family members. Services provided include Academic Advising, Benefit Advising and Certification, Tutoring, PTSD Support, and much more.
