Patriot Day

On this day we remember the people who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, including those who died attempting to rescue others. As we remember those who perished, we also thank the first responders and service members who remain vigilant in protecting our nation.

The First Responders Academy will hold a ceremony for Patriot Day starting at 9 a.m., Monday, Sept. 11. Patriot Day is a tribute to the first responders who sacrificed their lives during the 9-11 tragedy in 2001. Everyone is invited to attend the ceremony to remember those who perished in the tragedy.
