VITA Tax Assistance Available

Free on-campus tax help from Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), is available to anyone making an annual income of $60,000 or less. VITA is an IRS-sponsored program where staff and volunteers are held to a high standard of confidentiality and quality customer service.

Two VITA locations are hosted at the Alamo Colleges District at Palo Alto College and St. Philip’s College.

Hours of Operation

Monday: 1–7 p.m.

Tuesday: 1–6 p.m.

Wednesday: 1–7 p.m.

Thursday: 1–6 p.m.

Friday 1–6 p.m.

Saturday: 9 a.m. –3 p.m.

Be Prepared

Before arrival ensure that you have all necessary documents on hand, including: 

-   Valid picture ID

-   Social Security card for all individuals listed on tax return 

-   All tax documents 

-   Accurate Phone number
