Advocacy Centers

Snapshot: Advocacy Centers

As part of a district-wide commitment to student success and meeting the needs of students, all five of the Alamo Colleges have on-campus Advocacy Centers to support student wellness and success.

Find a location near you today.

To be an advocate is to be a supporter and cheerleader. As an Alamo Colleges student, you have advocates rooting for you as you navigate challenges in and outside of the classroom.

That’s why our on-campus Advocacy Centers exist: to make sure that your basic needs are met first so you can fully focus on your academic success.

These centers partner with different organizations to provide services like job assistance, food security, clothing, childcare, utility assistance, primary health care and counseling. At the Alamo Colleges, we believe that your circumstances don’t have to determine success.
