Alamo on the Job partners with employers who can provide an authentic work experience to qualified Alamo Colleges District students.

By partnering with the Alamo on the Job internship program, you are opening the door for learners of all backgrounds to see themselves in a new light. You’ll also be equipping the next generation of talent with the skills and experiences needed to support our local and global economy.

As part of the program, we’ll match our students to local businesses and organizations for a paid internship opportunity. Qualified students will work up to 20 hours a week for up to six months, with their wages paid by the Alamo Colleges.

To be eligible for the program, students must meet the following criteria:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be 17 years or older
• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• Actively enrolled in a minimum of one credit course at one of the five Alamo Colleges
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
