Alamo on the Job offers internship opportunities off-campus. Once you complete an Alamo on the Job application, you are matched with an employer that will afford you industry exposure.

All Alamo on the Job Interns are compensated at $17.12 per hour for up to 20 hours each week, for up to six months.

To be eligible for the program, students must meet the following criteria:

Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Must be 17 years or older
Minimum 2.5 GPA
Actively enrolled in a minimum of one credit course at one of the five Alamo Colleges
Eligible to work in the U.S.

Candidates should submit an initial application at the Alamo on the Job Career Site using their preferred email address
Complete the intake form and schedule your pre-screening Zoom appointment with a recruiter via Who's Next
Student is matched to an employer via Who's Next and has 48 hours to respond to match
Interview with employer
Complete background check
If selected, begin working
