Alamo Colleges District Earns 2025 Great Place To Work Certification

The Alamo Colleges District is proud to once again be Certified by Great Place To Work® for the second consecutive year. This honor is based entirely on what employees say about their experience working at the Alamo Colleges District.

This year, 72% of employees affirmed the Alamo Colleges District is a Great Place to Work, 15% higher than the average U.S. workplace.

This outstanding achievement reflects the dedication and spirit that define our Alamo family, and our collective commitment to a workplace where every employee feels valued, heard, and empowered to excel,” said Dr. Mike Flores, Alamo Colleges District Chancellor.

“Our incredible faculty and staff make our mission possible each and every day as we pursue our moonshot of ending poverty through education and training.”

Great Place To Work® leaders also recognized the significance of the achievement.

The certification aligns directly with the Talent priority of AlamoFORWARD, the district’s strategic plan. Over the past year, the Alamo Colleges District has taken meaningful steps to strengthen the employee experience. 

These efforts include the Board of Trustees’ approval of a $20 million investment in talent strategies. 

Research from Great Place To Work® shows job seekers are much more likely to find positive work experiences at Certified workplaces.
