About Dr. Stavroula Fili

Dr. Stav Fili is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Northeast Lakeview College. She earned her B.S. in Biology and M.S. in Biotechnology from the University of Patras in Greece and her Ph.D. in Plant Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Fili has extensive experience teaching and mentoring students from diverse academic backgrounds, including undergraduate researchers completing independent projects. As a faculty mentor, she hopes to provide a supportive and approachable space where students can ask questions, explore academic and career opportunities, and build confidence in their abilities and goals.
