Drop-In Advising 

On Campus:

Current NVC students may visit Desert Willow Welcome Center 202R (DWWC 202R) for drop-in advising during the hours listed below:

• • Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm

Note: Services may conclude once capacity is reached for the day. Wait times vary based on student traffic and advisor availability. 

Remote Services:

Advising will offer remote services on Fridays via zoom:

• •  Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

Advising services are offered to current NVC students in various formats throughout the year. Check here for weekly updates. Your assigned academic advisor will send weekly emails to your ACES student email with information on contacting and scheduling an advising appointment. For assistance, see How to Schedule an Advising Appointment Quick Guide. Advising appointments with your assigned academic advisor are recommended for the following services:

• • Full degree planning through completion
  • Change of Pre-Major (COM) 
  • Degree Audits
  • Financial Aid Appeal/Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) appeals
  • Mandatory Academic Standing, Academic Probation check-ins
