ACCD Board of Trustees Election Information

 

NOTICE OF ELECTION OF ACCD
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
UNIFORM GENERAL ELECTION ON
SATURDAY, MAY 2, 2026

On March 17, 2026, the Alamo Community College District (ACCD) Board of Trustees voted to cancel the May 2, 2026 elections for Trustees of single-member Districts Four (4) and Eight (8) because the incumbents were certified as unopposed upon expiration of the deadline to file an Application for a Place on the Ballot. The Board declared the incumbents, Dr. Lorena “Lorraine” Pulido and Dr. Clint Kingsbery, elected to serve new six-year terms, commencing on May 2, 2026, as Trustees for single member District Four (4) and single-member District Eight (8), respectively.

The May 2, 2026 election to elect an ACCD Trustee for single-member District Nine (9) will proceed. The candidates, listed below in order by which their names will appear on the Ballot, are:

Robert Garcia
Leslie Sachanowicz
Carolyn DeLecour

The ACCD Trustee General Election will be conducted by the Bexar County Elections Administration Department and jointly with other political subdivisions in Bexar County.  The Early Voting and Election Day Calendars with voting sites are posted below. Voting sites are subject to change by Bexar County Elections Administration. Its website should be consulted to ascertain voting sites on any day up to May 2, 2026. 

All candidates are subject to the requirements of the Texas Ethics Commission for reporting campaign contributions and expenses. Filing campaign finance reports is the responsibility of the candidate, not the campaign treasurer. Candidates are encouraged to consult TEC and its website for information.
