Dual CreditEarn college credit as a high school student. At our five Alamo Colleges, the Dual Credit program allows students to earn college credit while still in high school. Dual Credit courses may be taught on the high school campus by an approved instructor or on the college campus. Dual Credit courses include both academic and technical courses. If students qualify for Dual Credit, they may take courses in the 42-hour core curriculum or from the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. Courses taken should be aligned with the student’s degree plan or career choice. Benefits of Dual Credit
