Understanding Wintermester Financial Aid

Wintermester is a unique short semester that does not have it's own financial aid award & pay out date before classes start like the fall and spring semester.
Please be aware of the following payment deadlines for Wintermester:
- Students who are only enrolled in Wintermester courses must pay the costs of their Wintermester tuition and fees up front by the December 11th payment due date to avoid being dropped for non-payment.
- Students who are enrolled in Wintermester and Spring courses, who have been awarded financial aid for Spring 2026, will not be dropped for non-payment at this time and do not need to make payment arrangements.

Will I receive any financial aid for Wintermester courses?
Yes, Wintermester enrollment counts towards your financial aid eligibility for the Spring 2026 semester.
- The first Spring financial aid pay out date is January 10th, 2026
- Students will not receive any financial aid for their Wintermester courses however if they do not enroll in Spring 2026 courses.
How can I pay for my Wintermester courses?
Students can view their Wintermester tuition and fees balance & pay for their courses on ACES.
- Refer to the Virtual Business office for further guidance if needed.
- Students must complete their payment on ACES by December 11th to avoid their courses being dropped.
