The experience is more valuable than at a part-time job because you have the opportunity to apply classroom learning while you gain career field experience and earn your financial aid award. Additionally, your work could improve the quality of life for the local community. This can ultimately benefit your career long-term because of what you will learn and gain through professional relationships and about your major field of study.
This community work-study program experience can introduce you to opportunities in your desired career field and enhance your marketability to future employers.
