AlamoU offers bachelor’s degrees in nursing, management, cybersecurity and cloud computing. These programs give Alamo Colleges students a chance to build on the education they have already earned.

What Is AlamoU?

AlamoU is a family of four bachelor's degree programs at Alamo Colleges. It offers career-focused bachelor’s programs:

• Bachelor of Applied Technology (BAT) in Cloud Computing — Northwest Vista College
• Bachelor of Applied Technology (BAT) in Management — Palo Alto College
• Bachelor of Applied Technology (BAT) in Cybersecurity — St. Philip’s College
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Bridge — San Antonio College

Your previous college courses may count toward your bachelor’s degree, based on the submission of your official transcript and evaluation.

Bachelor of Applied Technology in Cloud Computing — Northwest Vista College

Interested in the technology behind today’s digital world?

Cloud computing supports many of the apps, services, and systems people use every day. The BAT in Cloud Computing at Northwest Vista College can help you build skills for this growing field.

Students learn about cloud technology, IT infrastructure, and related areas. The program also offers opportunities to work toward industry certifications and credentials. Students can choose hybrid or fully online learning options. The program also offers accelerated eight-week upper-level courses and multiple start dates.

This program may be right for you if: You are interested in technology, IT, cloud systems, and the future of computing.

Bachelor of Applied Technology in Management — Palo Alto College

Ready to take your career to the next level?

The BAT in Management at Palo Alto College helps students build skills in leadership, business, operations, and project management.

The program is a good option for students who want to build on their work or technical experience. Some career and technical education courses may also count toward the degree. The program is available fully online and in a hybrid format. Students can take accelerated eight-week courses and choose from multiple start dates.

This program may be right for you if: You want to turn your work or technical experience into new leadership and management opportunities.

Bachelor of Applied Technology in Cybersecurity — St. Philip’s College

Interested in technology and protecting information?

The BAT in Cybersecurity at St. Philip’s College helps students build the skills needed to protect data, systems, and organizations from cyber threats.

Students learn about cybersecurity tools and practices while gaining hands-on experience. The program is available in face-to-face, hybrid and fully online formats. Students who already have college credits may have different ways to enter the program. For example, students with an AA or AS degree may transfer up to 42 hours of Core coursework, along with eligible technical credits.

This program may be right for you if: You enjoy technology, problem-solving, and finding ways to keep information and organizations safe.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing Bridge — San Antonio College

Already a registered nurse (RN) with an associate degree in nursing?

The BSN Bridge at San Antonio College can help you earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and build on the skills you already have.

The program covers topics such as nursing leadership, community health, research, and ethics. It offers online, hybrid, and accelerated options to give working nurses more flexibility. Eligible students can complete the fast-track option in as little as eight months. A part-time option is also available.

This program may be right for you if: you are an RN who wants to grow your nursing skills, take on new responsibilities, or prepare for future career opportunities.
