Digital Learning Day 2022

Celebrating the Personal in Personalized Learning

Here is a look back on our DLD 2022 sessions

Creating Accessible Word Documents

Word processing documents are part of our digital DNA. We create them without thinking by starting on a blank page and typing. Ever wonder how students who can’t see your document read the page? In this session, learn easy tips that you can incorporate today, to make your word processing documents accessible to all of your students. We’ll also be providing handy resources you can use!

See how he piques their curiosity and provides purpose that gets them to enjoy what some consider the "boring" details of Music Theory.

Entertainment is the New Reality: Virtual Reality and other Games for the Language Classroom

Motivation and engagement are the name of the game in this practical language activity session. Participants will be introduced to some fun new tools, such as ImmerseMe Virtual Reality and Review Game Zone, that can be used to catch the attention of students and keep them coming back for more language practice. Participants will see current SPC student data related to improvements in motivation, anxiety, and skill as achieved through VR immersion with native Spanish speakers. They will also have the opportunity to test out some language tools and games for themselves. All technology is free or very low cost, making them easy to incorporate in the world language classroom.
