The Alamo Colleges District is proud to partner with the Future Talent Council (FTC) to offer students an opportunity to participate in the Global Student Fellowship Program, a 6-month international leadership and applied research experience culminating in a paid trip to the Future Talent Summit 2027 in Stockholm, Sweden.

Paid Trip to Sweden

How Swede it is! Enjoy the sights and sounds of Stockholm, Sweden, at the Future Talent Summit in June 2027.

At the Summit, you will get to collaborate with students around the world, learn and network from global industry leaders, and develop your leadership skills!

Plus, you will get the experience Sweden for a total of 7 days:

  • Explore museums and historic sites
  • Experience and learn about different cultures
  • Enjoy Swedish attractions and foods

Fellowship Program Details

The Global Student Fellowship Program is a six-month international leadership and applied research experience designed to prepare students for the future of work.

Through the program, students will engage with global peers and professionals, develop valuable skills, and contribute to conversations about the future of work.

How to Apply

Interested students must submit the Alamo Colleges District Global Student Fellowship Program nomination application by Friday, September 11, 2026.

Who Can Apply?

All Alamo Colleges District students are encouraged to apply for consideration.

Fellows should plan to dedicate approximately 5 hours per week to fellowship activities and will present their work to global stakeholders at the Future Talent Summit in Stockholm, Sweden, in June 2027.

ACD Global Student Fellowship Program Nomination Application Deadline - Friday, September 11, 2026

ACD Nominees Selected - Tuesday, September 18, 2026

Alamo Colleges District will select up to five students, with the opportunity to nominate one student from each of the District’s five colleges. Selected nominees will be notified.

FTC Global Student Fellowship Program Application Deadline - Tuesday, September 25, 2026.

Selected ACD nominees submit Global Student Fellowship Program applications directly to the Future Talent Council.

Global Student Fellowship Cohort Announced - Early October 2026

The Future Talent Council announces the Global Student Fellowship cohort. Global Student Fellowship Program - October 2026–March 2027. Selected fellows participate in the six-month global leadership and applied research program.

Future Talent Summit | Stockholm, Sweden - June 22–23, 2027

The fellowship culminates at the Future Talent Summit 2027 in Stockholm, Sweden, with travel and accommodation expenses fully covered for the selected fellow.
