ACCD Board of Trustees Election Information

On June 23,2026 at a Special Board Meeting, the Alamo Community College District (ACCD) Board of Trustees canvassed the results of the June 13, 2026 Runoff Election for Trustee of single-member District Nine (9), declared official the unofficial election results provided by the Bexar County Elections Administrator, and declared Robert Garcia, the winner and duly elected Trustee to serve a six-year term. Below is a summary of the votes cast.

ACCD GENERAL ELECTION, TRUSTEE DISTRICT 9:

After the Runoff Election votes were canvassed at the Special Board meeting, the Board, still headed by Dr. Clint Kingsbery as Chair, elected the following new officers:

The Runoff Election to elect an ACCD Trustee for single-member District Nine (9) will be conducted on June 13, 2026. The candidates are Robert Garcia and Carolyn Delecour. Early Voting in District 9 will be conducted on June 1–June 9, 2026. The times and locations are listed below under Orders and on the Bexar County Elections Administration Website.

After the Special Board Meeting adjourned, the Regular Board Meeting commenced, and Robert Garcia was seated as the new Trustee for District 9. Leslie Sachanowitz was honored for his six years of service on the Board of Trustees and to the Alamo Colleges District. The next Trustee election will be conducted in 2028.
