What is the IV Therapy program?

Upscale and gain an understanding of intravenous insertion, maintenance, and removal. The IV therapy certification allows an opportunity for the student to demonstrate expertise and competency of intravenous therapy management and maintenance.

This is an opportunity to enhance skills needed to insert and maintain an IV with limited experience for the student to gain more experience and knowledge needed to function in the healthcare setting. This specialization is ideal for Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses, and other skill professionals previously trained in IV therapy or individuals seeking to refresh their IV skills. This can include individuals working in nursing homes or home health care workers, etc.
