Program RequirementsThe program focuses on preparing learners for entry-level careers in residential construction and connecting participants with employers and industry partners. |

Your Course of Study
5-course program | 150 Total Course Hours
12 Hours
Explore the fundamentals of the construction industry while building the academic and workplace skills needed for training and career success. Students learn about construction roles, jobsite expectations, workplace communication, safety practices, and foundational trade concepts aligned with workforce readiness standards.
9 Hours
Develop life-saving emergency response skills used in workplace and community settings. Students learn first aid procedures, CPR techniques, AED operation, and bleeding control methods to respond confidently during medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
80 Hours
Build foundational construction skills through hands-on training in workplace safety, communication, construction math, tool usage, and construction drawing interpretation. This course prepares students for entry-level construction careers and continued training in specialized trade areas.
34 Hours
Gain industry-recognized safety training focused on OSHA standards, hazard recognition, workplace safety procedures, and construction industry regulations. Students learn how to identify, prevent, and respond to common jobsite risks while strengthening safety awareness in construction and manufacturing environments.
15 Hours
Strengthen workplace readiness skills through hands-on learning focused on communication, problem-solving, digital literacy, and professional construction practices. Students build the academic and occupational skills needed for success in construction training programs and entry-level trade careers.
