Ace Tech Store offers students, faculty, and staff academic discounts from Apple and Dell. As well as a full range of accessories from Apple and popular brands.

Our in-store computer service and repair is open to all students, faculty, staff, and the general public. We offer diagnostics, virus service, hard drives, RAM upgrades, and many other services.

Alamo Colleges Faculty, Staff:
Faculty and staff personal use purchases may be picked up in our on-campus store (1819 N. Main, Moody Learning Center 2nd floor - 207), or delivered for free to your on-campus location or home.

Current Alamo Colleges Students:
Purchases may be picked up in our on-campus store (1819 N. Main, Moody Learning Center, 2nd floor - 207) or shipped directly to your home.

Institutional Purchases:
Institutional Orders will be shipped to your home campus typically to your receiving room on campus or UPS Mail Room. For more information on orders, you can email Please include the PO# and Apple Order Number.

SAC Tech Store Return Policy

  • Thank you for choosing the San Antonio College (SAC) Technology Store for your IT Purchases.  We are happy to offer you the best selections at competitive prices!  Please carefully read our return policy before purchase.
  •  Please remember to save your receipt.  A valid receipt and/or packing slip are required for all refunds and exchanges.
  • Returns for all unopened, unused merchandise may be made within 10 business days of purchase.  Refunds will be made to the original form of payment. 
  • Customer must present the credit/debit card used in the original transaction. After the store return period, the customer is responsible for pursuing returns through the manufacturer.

  • No returns on special orders, gift cards, consumables, or headphones.
  • Special configurations and order are paid-in-full prior to the ordering of the product(s) from our vendors.
  • Because special orders are unique products that we do not stock on the sales floor, returns cannot be approved unless the item is defective and a replacement needs to be re-ordered.
  • Defective Products will be validated by certified store technicians before the return is fully processed by the SAC Tech Store.
  • All open product returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • The SAC Tech Store reserves the right to deny any returns.
  • Please remove all personal data and accessories left in exchanged and returned items.
  • SAC Tech Store is not responsible for customer data on returned equipment.

What is Ace Tech Store? The Ace Tech store is a one-stop shop for all technology needs. Students, faculty, and staff of the Alamo Colleges can purchase computer equipment at an educational discount. , the store sells computer and tech accessories, offers a variety of services, and provides ongoing workshops to showcase new technology.
Where are you located? The Ace Tech Store is located on the SAC Campus, 1819 N. Main Ave, Moody Learning Center (MLC 207), San Antonio, Texas 78212.
What types of products are for sale?

Currently, the Ace Tech Store offers a variety of products from Apple and DELL, including laptops and tablets.

Microsoft Office 365 is available to current Alamo Colleges faculty, staff, and students. Alumni and retirees are not included in our license with Microsoft.

Who is eligible to shop at the
Ace Tech Store?
Faculty, staff, and students with a valid Alamo Colleges ID are eligible to purchase computer equipment and/or services offered at the Ace Tech Store. Community members can participate in ongoing workshops, get tech-related services, and purchase computer accessories and general merchandise. 
For student purchases, do you offer specific hardware specifications? Please review the “Shop By Major” link on the website or pick up the informational pamphlet at the store to view computer recommendations.  We are also happy to discuss options at the store.
Can institutional purchases be made at the store?

The Office of Technology Services approves all institutional purchases for San Antonio College. Also, beginning Fall of 2017, all Apple products for the Alamo Colleges must be purchased through the Ace Tech Store.

Are there limitations on the number of computer purchases?

Yes. Due to contractual agreements, employees and students can purchase up to one Apple desktop and one Apple laptop per academic year. 

Is the Ace Tech Store open to the public?

Yes, we are open to the public; however, only faculty, staff, and students with a valid Alamo Colleges ID are eligible to purchase computer equipment. Community members can participate in ongoing workshops, and purchase computer accessories and general merchandise.

What methods of payment are accepted?

We accept American Express, Visa, Master Card, and Discover Cards with a valid driver’s license and an Alamo Colleges Student ID. Cash and checks are not accepted at this time. Online orders - The shipping address and billing address must be the same. 

Are payment plans available?  All transactions must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
Can I charge my payment to my Bursar's account?  All transactions must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
Do I have to pay sales tax since I am a student? Yes! All personal purchases are assessed the standard sales tax of 8.25%. There is no charge for sales tax on institutional purchases.
Can I purchase third-party warranty services? You can obtain extended coverage and protection through Safeware, Inc.
Can I configure my computer before purchasing? Yes! If one of the computers in stock does not meet your needs, we can create a special order for you. Special orders must be prepaid and are non-refundable. They will be ordered and shipped to Ace Tech Store. You will be notified when the order is ready for pick-up.
Where do I pick up my online purchase? Store Pickup: Curbside Pickup for online orders is available by appointment at our physical location. Simply select Walk In as your Delivery Method at checkout. We contact you when your order is ready. Be sure to bring a photo ID.
Shipping: We ship to anywhere in the continental United States (excluding P.O. Boxes) We ship via UPS, and Free two-day shipping. Insurance is included.
What types of accessories are for sale?

Many Apple and third-party accessories are in stock at Ace Tech Store, including laptop chargers, iPhone and iPad adapters, laptop sleeves, cables, speakers, headphones, and more.

Can I check out a loaner laptop from Ace Tech Store? We do not offer loaner laptops. SAC students can check out a loaner laptop from the Service center, in the same location as Ace Tech Store, MLC 207. Online Form
Can I use my Financial Aid at Ace Tech Store? Not at this time.  All transactions must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
As an employee, am I eligible for a payroll deduction plan? Not at this time.  All transactions must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
