What is the Certified Logistics Associate program?
| Earn a Foundational-Level Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) ® Certificate. Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Team assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. The purpose of the MSSC certification program is to recognize through certification, individuals who demonstrate mastery of the core competencies of material handling at the front-line (entry-level to front-line supervisor) through successful completion of the logistics certification assessments. The goal is to raise the level of performance to assist the individual in finding higher-wage jobs and to help employers ensure their workforce increases the company’s productivity and competitiveness.
