International Program's Mission:

The mission of the Office of International Programs is to serve and support our students, faculty, staff, community and international partners by fostering international opportunities, training, and educational experiences.

The Office of International Programs supports the colleges in the internationalization of the campuses through support and creation of a wide range of activities, events, and programs that engage our campuses in international initiatives.

Our goal is to make international education relevant to and valuable for a wide array of constituents and stakeholders. In doing so, it will bring recognition to the Alamo Colleges District for being a leader in international education.

Curriculum:

The Alamo Colleges District curriculum supports students gaining practical experience by applying knowledge to real-world problems. Furthermore, these educational practices engage students in active, challenging work that enhances learning with expert faculty guidance and produces exemplary employees.

Faculty and Staff:

The Alamo Colleges District has access to an extensive pool of subject matter experts, faculty, staff, administrators and trustees within its approximately 5,960 employees.

Our faculty is highly qualified with master’s and doctoral degrees, real-word experience, field-oriented research, bilingual readiness and the dedications to globalization and experiential and online learning.
